Hi 6th years, Your second appointment has been scheduled. Please check times on office door. If you are setting up a CAO please bring credit/debit details with you to set up your CAO. 5th and 6th years. Please go to your assigned rooms for your workshop tomorrow. The school is covering the cost for 'Rayse the Game'. A roll call will be taken by your year-head at 9am. If you ever say. I'm stressed, I'm anxious, I don't know where to begin with study/revision, I am worried I won't get my points, I'm de-motivated then this programme is for you. Transition Year
Our debating team completed in Round 2 today we were opposing the motion "The Challenges to Ending World Hunger are Insurmountable" against Pobalscoil Inbhear Scéine from Kenmare. It was a very interesting debate well done to our team and best of luck.

The National Reptile Zoo is Ireland’s only dedicated reptile zoo! They visited our school today and gave a unique opportunity to TY students to come face to face with some of the world’s most amazing animals – including pythons, monitor lizards, snapping turtles, tortoise, tarantulas and more! It was a hands-on, interactive experience for every TY student it was experience not to be missed!

This week is careers week and it is also stand up awareness week. All 1st-6th year parents/guardians of students in St. Augustine's College are invited and welcome to a Parent Prep talk on Zoom tomorrow evening at 7..The talk will surround how to motivate your teen, anxiety, wellbeing and more. 5th & 6th years, It would be good to watch this video on Ray Langan 'Rayse the game' before the seminar on Thursday. youtu.be/81RsXZDSog4. Ray has worked with over 30,000 students and is well renowned for his ability to motivate students. The timing we feel is perfect. 6th years, after sitting the Christmas exams 6th year students will be tired however this seminar will help your focus your attention for the next few weeks and most especially before the pre-exams. 5th years, this talk will help you to get motivated and will give you a sense of where to begin when it comes to a study routine ahead of your Christmas examinations. All 5th and 6th years have a workshop on studyskills/motivation/anxiety and more on Thursday from 9-11. All students must attend. The school will be subsidising the cost so it is very important that we have a good turn out.
