Many thanks to Eoghan O Brien and Luke Murphy for visiting our Mini Company class. These TY students gave tips and tricks to their fellow students on how to photograph products to make them look their best for advertising. Eoghan brought in a light box along with props, back drops and detachable lenses that can be fitted to smart phones. We look forward to seeing the photos that students will use on social media pages to advertise their products.

Both our Minor & Junior teams continued their unbeaten starts to the league as we hosted Scoil Mhuire in the Friary. Credit to all four teams who despite the gale force winds all played great hockey. First up our Juniors who after a cagey start finally got the better of their opponents as our full panel of 18 players were needed. Goals from Siún Kiely, Aoife Mc Loughlin and hawkeye would need to decide if Claudia O Halloran or Emma Curran got the 3rd. Next up our Minor match was a much more tense affair as two very evenly matched teams played an end to end game. Lauren Cliffe grab a deserved goal to put us 1-0 up before Hawkeye failed us again as neither Aoife Lattimore or Emma Beresford could decide who got the final touch on our 2nd goal (both claiming it was the other girl who scored!). We survived a nervous last 5 minutes when Scoil Mhuire pulled a goal back, but again our full panel of 18 was called on to ensure we claimed all 3 points! ️
Attention Parents/Guardians

Can parents please not enter the school grounds to drop or collect children from 8.45 am to 9.10am and 3.45 pm to 4.15am The road is not suitable for that volume of traffic which is creating an unsafe passage for students trying to enter school by foot and on bikes. Staff also need to access the school and numerous cars dropping at front door is creating a traffic back log. If your child has accessibility requirements please let us know and we can make arrangements. We would ask for your cooperation in this matter please. Kind regards, Michael O'Sullivan Principal
