Dear 6th yr Parents,
Students who have indicated they are going to apply for DARE have been given information about DARE. (see www.cao.ie for information on DARE under Downloads section)
DARE applicants should by now have opened their CAO account and ticked a box indicating they are applying to DARE and filled in Section A online.
It is now time to bring in SECTION B of the DARE form to the Guidance Counsellors for us to fill it in.
Please print off Section B from the CAO website and have your son/daughter bring it in to us before Christmas.
Also print off Section C - if it is relevant to your child - and get it filled in by a medical practitioner.
If your 6th yr student is applying for DARE and has not yet informed us, please let us know immediately so the process can be started.
Also please return completed Language Exemption application forms for the NUI to Ms. Travers to get signed and stamped before uploading them to the NUI webiste.
Thank you,
Guidance Team

Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,
We have had to make a slight amendment to the Junior Cycle Mock Examinations Timetable.
Please be advised that Art will now take place on Thursday, February 8th and Engineering will be examined on Friday, February 9th. This change was required to allocate the required time and sufficient number of Art teachers needed for this exam. I apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause. Please find attached a revised timetable reflecting the changes outlined above.
Kind regards,
Brian Shanahan.

We are delighted to announce that our annual Christmas Carol Service for the local community returns on Thursday 21st of December in Clane Parish Church. The teachers and students’ choir will be performing at our Christmas Carol service in aid of the Breakfast Club.
Special guests will also feature on the night.
Tickets are available from the school office, on the school app, and at the door on the night.
Tickets €10 for adults and €5 for OAP/Students. Doors open from 7pm.
This is a wonderful and worthwhile opportunity for our school community and local enterprises to support this essential school initiative.
Furthermore, if you would like to sponsor a prize for the raffle, we would greatly appreciate your generosity and ongoing support.
This festive event will kickstart your Christmas celebrations as you enjoy our showcasing of student talent.
Dear Parent/Guardian,
We are aware that you have been informed by Bus Eireann that their school bus service will not operate the Kilmeague route this week. We wish to let you know that this route is operated by Kavanaghs on behalf of Bus Eireann, it is not operated by O'Neills or any of our other bus operators. Please direct your queries directly to Bus Eireann.
Many thanks,
JP Cahillane
