At this special time of year we want you to know that your contribution to our school is very much valued. We appreciate that Christmas is filled with a myriad of emotions for people. While these emotions are invigorating for some they may be challenging for others. It is important to share our feelings, sometimes all we need is a little reassurance, guidance and/or encouragement. We hope you all have a relaxing and peaceful Christmas break! Our wish for you and your families for 2020 is good health, happiness and prosperity. James meets the First Ladies.

James Byrne (3rd Year) became an ambassador for Barretstown Gang camp last Summer. He had the honour of meeting Hillary Clinton and Sabina Higgins. James presented a speech to Mrs Clinton, Minister Simon Harris and 150 guests for their Founders Dinner in Barretstown where he spoke eloquently with pride and dignity.  This took real courage, confidence and determination. The First Ladies now know many of his school experiences in Scoil Mhuire. Barretstown is the chosen charity for our Fifth Year's fundraiser this year, a most worthy cause. We are most proud of James and wish him our very best wishes in this new role.
