Well done to the 1st Year Boys Soccer Team, who won the Midlands League final by beating Patricians of Newbridge 4-0, making it two years in a row that Scoil Mhuire have won the competition.  Scoil Mhuire started the game strongly with two goals in the first ten minutes from Josh Gannon and Tadhg O’Donoghue. They didn’t stop there, as Adam Fitzpatrick made it 3-0 before Josh Gannon scored another goal. Patricians came out determined in the second half, but Scoil Mhuire defended well and were able to keep a clean sheet. The team are unbeaten this year, and are now through to the Leinster Champions League. They are also in the semi final of the Leinster Cup. Well done to all involved, including student coaches Rían Keating, Cian Byrne and Ayobami Alarape. A special thanks to Mr McAndrew for his commitment to the team.
