Rory's Stories

We are delighted that Rory's Stories have agreed to assist with Clane GAA's Mental Health Initiative. A talk takes place tomorrow(Thursday) night in the Clubhouse starting at 7.30 pm. The event is free and open to all in the community (U 14's must be accompanied by an adult).
Epipens

A black and blue pencilcase with two epipens was mislaid in the Second Year area today. We would appreciate if you could hand it into the school office if your student took it home by accident or has found it. It is important that a person that does not require an epipen does not use it. Please contact a doctor immediately if this happens.
Pizza sale - 5th Year fundraiser

The fifth year fundraising committee has had to cancel the pizza sale tomorrow due to the change in lunch times. The pizza sale will be rescheduled for a later date.

For the attention of parents/guardians of 3rd yr students going into 5th yr this August.
RE: TEST RESULTS SENT HOME TODAY
Third year students who have indicated that they will proceed directly into 5th yr this year have today been given test results which will assist them in making subject choices for Senior Cycle. The students have:
1. The results of the CAT 4 tests taken Jan 14 /15 and
2. A separate parent report , as well as a
3. Career Interest test result.
Please take some time to read through these reports with your son or daughter and discuss their options for Senior Cycle.
Subject option talks also began today and will continue tomorrow and again when mock exams are finished.

Final Reminder to Open CAO accounts.
Please help your son/daughter to open their CAO account before this Sat Feb 1st and indicate if they are applying for HEAR or DARE.
All restricted courses must be entered on course lists by Feb 1st.
Courses should be listed in order of preference.

It is planned to commence night study for 6th Year students on Monday 27th January and run until the Easter Holidays. Forms and payment can be accessed on the school website or through the school office. Minimum of 24 students required . Mr. Breslin & Mr Sheridan.
5th Year Play

Dear Parents and Guardian, Please support our annual play performed by our 5th year students who have been in rehearsal since October and excitement is building for the production of The Factory Girls next week, under the guidance of Mr Gorry, Mr Carr and Mr Breslin assisted by a number of 5th yr students backstage.
