Update your profile.

Parents and Guardians - please update your App Profile to reflect the year group your student is in this year. It is very important that you do this immediately. The reason for this is that explanation notes etc. will be directed to the incorrect area for your child and the Tutor will not be able to update the records to "absence explained". This will result in phone calls and you will have to enter the explanation(s) again - a lot of extra work for all ! Many thanks.
Please remember to enter "absence explanations" and/or "permission to leave notifications" before 8.10am. Any information entered after this time will not be recorded until the next school day.

We Remember Ade

The whole school community at Scoil Mhuire, Clane, is deeply saddened by the sudden death of our third year student Ademidun (Ade) Adeleke.
We extend our sincere sympathy to Ade’s family, his parents Nike and Bayo, sister Eniola, brother Holly, his extended family and friends. May he rest in peace.
Ade, by his gentle presence made a great contribution to the spirit of our school. He had a great passion for athletics, loved soccer and adored Liverpool. He had a deep faith and will be sadly missed in Scoil Mhuire. We are remembering Ade in our thoughts and prayers.
We Remember Ade
At the rising of the sun and at its setting,
We remember Ade.
At the blowing of the wind and in the chill of Winter,
We remember Ade.
At the opening of buds and in the rebirth of Spring,
We remember Ade.
At the blueness of the skies and the warmth of Summer,
We remember Ade.
At the rustling of leaves and the beauty of Autumn,
We remember Ade.
At the beginning of the year and when it ends,
We remember Ade.
As long as we live, he too will live;
for he is now a part of us, as we remember him.

Fancy Dress Walk Day 2019

We had our annual Fancy Dress Walk event today 25th October. This is a very important fundraiser that helps towards the cost of transport associated with the various trips from our school. Thank you for your continued generosity. Many of our students and teachers presented in some wonderful costumes that added great colour and wonder. We must thank everyone that made today a resounding success - the students that performed in the concert and/or helped decorate the various rooms, - the organising committee especially Ms Dunne, Ms Moran and Ms Clifford, - all the others too numerous to mention that helped in a variety of ways to contribute to a fantastic day. We will post lots of photographs after the Mid-Term break. Have an enjoyable and safe time!
