Parents Council Raffle

Amidst all the cheer of our Christmas Jumper Day the Parents Council raffle took place last Friday! The winners were as follows: 1st Prize: Fiona Murphy (and her son Charlie Murphy who received a pair of apple airpods) 2nd Prize: Martine Hennessy 3rd Prize: Anna O' Neill 4th Prize: Lesley Kavanagh Pictured are our lucky winners receiving their prizes, as well as members of the Students Council who facilitated the raffle. Many thanks to our fabulous Parents Council and the wonderful Students Council for all their work over the past few weeks.

Well done to the students on the Special Mention Board who were nominated for significant achievement over the last month. These students showed strengths in many different areas for example, excellent record of work, continually making a great effort, great improvement in work, excellent attendance, great improvement in behaviour, significant contribution to school or community and many other reasons. Transition Year - Christmas Portfolio Assessment

Best of luck to all Transition Years starting their portfolio assessments tomorrow. Full uniform must be worn. It is very important that students have submitted their Projects + Goals Sheet & the published link to their Digital Portfolios before their interview. This is done through their Tutorials Google Classroom. The following is a link to a video explaining how to submit these. Naas CBS Food Drive

Naas CBS Amnesty Group are holding a Food Drive tomorrow, Friday 11th. If you are in a position to help please send in some non perishable goods with your son tomorrow morning. They can bring them to the PE Hall from 8.30am to 9am. All Covid 19 protocols will be followed. The food will then be brought to Naas Food Bank. Many thanks for your support. The Amnesty Group.

Good afternoon Parents, Guardians & Students, Our Virtual Carol Service for Christmas 2020 was viewed by all staff and students here in Naas CBS and we would like to take the opportunity to share this video with you all too. Many thanks to the Music and Religion Departments who creatively worked with students to produce a different version of our annual Carol Service. We are delighted to be able to share this with everyone in the Naas CBS community and also with our friends in Craddock House Nursing Home who hope to play the video for residents. Our Music students often visit Craddock House Nursing Home to perform at Christmas so we hope that this video will help spread the Christmas spirit. St. Vincent de Paul Rag Day

Our annual St. Vincent de Paul Christmas Jumper Rag Day will take place on Friday the 11th December. The funds raised from this charity event will go to our local branch of SVP. We would ask each student to bring in €3. Please note as a precautionary measure there will be no change given. Thank you for your support.

Friday Afternoon Study

Dear Parents, Guardians & Students, Due to a staff meeting on Friday after school there will be no study. We will however have study on Monday and Tuesday of the following week and also go ahead with Night study. All study concludes on Tuesday the 15th after Night Study ends. Christmas Exams begin on Wednesday 16th.
