A confirmed case of COVID-19 in 3rd Year Naas CBS has been notified to the Department of Public Health HSE (and a number of close contacts in 3rd Year have been asked to self isolate as a precaution). A public health risk assessment has been undertaken and the staff and parents of any children deemed to be close contacts of the confirmed case have been contacted and advised accordingly. If you/your child is not identified as a close contact, you/your child does not need a test for Covid-19, they can continue to attend school, and no further actions are required at this time. If you/your child develops any symptoms suggestive of Covid-19 infection (such as a cough, a fever, loss or change in sense of taste or smell), please do not send your child to school, contact your GP and begin restricting your child’s movements, as per public health advice. Restricted movement means avoiding contact with other people and social situations as much as possible. It is also sometimes called ‘self-quarantine’. Further information on COVID-19 is available at: www.hse.ie

Archived : 31 Jan 2021, 12:00 AM
Dear Parents, Guardians & Students, Due to covid restrictions we cannot conduct our Parent Teacher meetings as we traditionally would, in person, here in the school. Teacher reports for our 3rd & 5th Year students are now live and available under 'Term Reports' on VSWare. The reports is titled '3rd Year PTM' & '5th Year PTM'. We recommend that reports are viewed using the 'Print' option under the 'Actions' tab on the right had side of your son's VSWare account as it is much clearer to view. The instructions are fully detailed in the attached PDF. This document is also available on our school website www.naascbs.ie under the Parents tab, These reports can be accessed through the VSWare tab on the school app (see image below) or by clicking the VSWare icon on the main page of our school website. A reminder to all parents regarding VSWare - if you have not already reset or created your own password to access VSWare you must do so in order to view reports. Due to new GDPR regulations the school can now only generate usernames for all parents to access their son's account. To reset your password please click the 'create/reset password' button on the VSWare login page (see image below). Parents will be asked for the last four digits of their mobile phone number when resetting the password. To view VSWare on a laptop or computer you can click the VSWare icon on the main page of our school website or use this link naascbs.vsware.ie A notification will be sent in the new year in regards to 1st & 2nd Year Parent Teacher Meeting reports Please contact the school if you have any further queries, Many thanks, The Management Team
