A reminder to parents, guardians and students that we have a staff planning afternoon tomorrow, Wednesday 24th February. Classes will finish at 11.50am for all students. There are two full day Junior Cycle in-services scheduled for staff in March. These will take place on March 4th and March 25th. There will be no classes on these days.

Virtual Run

Please see information below for First, Second & Third Year students regarding a 'Virtual Run'. Students can participate in a 3k virtual run. All you need to do is download a running app like strava or runkeeper and take a screenshot of your time before Friday March 19th. Your time screenshot must be sent to tk@naascbs.ie. Medals will be awarded for the fastest three times in each year group. 1st Year Table Quiz

1st Years participated in a Table Quiz to celebrate the end of their first term in Secondary School. A huge thanks to our fantastic Meitheal Leaders for taking the time out of their hectic schedules to organise this event for their younger peers. Well done to the 1st Years for their enthusiastic participation and congrats to the teams that went home with the prizes!

Mid-term Break

Wishing everyone in our school community a very happy, safe and well-deserved mid-term break. The work and effort from staff and students has been tremendous, especially during such challenging times but we are very proud of all that has been achieved this term. A particular 'thank you' to all our teachers who have worked tirelessly to support students remotely. It is so important now that everyone takes the necessary time away from the screens and uses this break to rest and replenish themselves. Many thanks to everyone for taking the time to complete the surveys that were sent out during the week. We appreciate your feedback and will use this information to help plan for the weeks ahead. We have a staff planning afternoon on Wednesday 24th February. Classes will finish at 11.50am for all students. There are two full day Junior Cycle in-services scheduled for staff in March. These will take place on March 4th and March 25th. There will be no classes on these days. Our 2nd Year students are undertaking classroom-based assessments from March 1st to March 22nd. We spoke to 2nd Year students during their zoom meeting on Wednesday in regards to these. CBA's will take place for the following subjects; Geography, Music, French and German. The teachers of these subjects will guide students through this process. Information and support will also be sent out via the school app. Enjoy the break everyone and stay safe. As mentioned in our meeting, we would like to touch base with both parents/guardians and students to see what is working/not working in regards to remote learning and what we can do to help.
