Meitheal Leaders team building day.

Our 6th Year Meitheal leaders had a team building morning in Stradbally Woods today, organised by Ms. Bailey. Along with some games and a picnic, the girls managed a 7km walk in the glorious sunshine. As a school our number one priority is, and will continue to be, safety. However, we also intend to give the girls as much fun and as many "normal" experiences of school life as is possible. We are working on plans and ideas to ensure that students can grow outside of the classroom, as they always have in Scoil Chríost Rí. While the Meitheal girls did not get their traditional bonding activities in Castletown, they have been such a positive, proactive and supportive presence for our new First Year students, and indeed for all in our community. All of our students have been excellent with all that has been asked of them over the past few weeks. While there has been a lot of change in our building, the spirit and kindness of our students have remained a constant and a reassuring source of hope for us all.
