Our Debating society have found a way to make sure that we continue the legacy of Debating in our school. Our 1st online Teams meeting was yesterday evening, with over 30 students online. We have 26 students competing in external competitions in the next 2 weeks and we are beginning our in-house training this half term also. Our girls encourage each other across the year groups. Our motto is 'A candle loses nothing by lighting other candles" as we firmly believe that we are in it to support and encourage each other, not just to have our own successes. Here's to another exciting, albeit different, year of debating in SCR.
