Congratulations to Elizabeth McElroy P2 who won the 15th Toyota Dream Art Contest with her superb design of a sustainable motorbike complete with solar panels and pollen generated energy! Elizabeth's artwork will now be adjudicated in Japan at an international art competition. We wish her the very best of luck!

The TY musical cast and crew put on wonderful matinee and evening performances of 'Matilda' yesterday. We are anticipating a spectacular finale this evening at 7.30pm in the GPA. Well done to our TY musical team!

The First Year Trip to Causey Farm will take place on Wednesday 11th May. In order for your daughter to attend, please complete the consent form on the school app. Payment of €30 is also now due and can be made via Easy Payments on the olschool.ie website. Many thanks.

This week’s book recommendation is a young adult crime novel written by Holly Jackson. ‘A Good Girl's Guide to Murder’ is about a closed local murder case that doesn't add up, and a girl named Pip who's determined to find the real killer--but not everyone wants her meddling in the past. This book is available in the school library.

Congratulations to our incoming 6th Year Council Senior Leadership Team (CSLT) who received their positions today. Leading OLS in 2022/'23 will be Roisín Evoy as Head Girl, Caoilin Dunne as Deputy Head GIrl and Maria McMahon as Sports Captain. Leading our Houses will be Rachel Dignam as B House Captain, Maeve Lydon as C House Captain, Abbey Kelly as L House Captain, Caitlin Evoy as M House Captain and Mary Byrne as P House Captain. Matilda The Musical Sold Out

The GPA is buzzing this week with final preparations for the TY's production of "Matilda". Both evenings are fully sold out and no tickets will be available on the door. For those lucky people who have a ticket, there will be a raffle with fantastic prizes and refreshments for sale (cash only).
