A big welcome back to all our students and staff. We hope you all had an enjoyable and restful break and are ready for a productive 2023.
Well done to the OLS community for raising over €8,000 with the Christmas Raffle this year! This will be used to support the Dome project, which we are getting very excited about as the beginning of the building phase is imminent! We would like to thank everyone for their support, especially the Parents' Council, in donating gifts and selling tickets.
Happy Christmas!
The My Future Choice Aptitude and Interest test results are now available. Please see attached a guide for students and parents to access the results.
Many thanks.
Advent
On Monday was the lighting of the 4th candle of Advent symbolising Peace. Lit by Naomi from the Le Cheile council in the oratory.
Festive Spirit
The Home Ec Department has been very busy with festive work this week. Second Years decorated Christmas cupcakes and First Years created Christmas tree decorations in textile craft.

Ms O’Dell’s First Year Science class also decorated cakes relating to Earth & Space.
Christmas Dance
Ms O'Dell and Ms Doran's First Year PE classes have been practising their Christmas dance over the past few weeks. They performed their dances on Tuesday.
Goal Mile
We hope to see lots of you on the 26th of December in Terenure College for the Goal Mile. For volunteers, set up starts at 10am. For participants we kick off from 11am-1pm.
Carol Ceremony
Today we finished out our term with a beautiful carol ceremony full of singing from the choir (and a surprise performance from staff). Well done to B5 for all their hard work organising the terrific ceremony. Thank you to Ms Donlon, Ms Murphy and all of the religion department for helping as always. Also thank you to Ms Reilly, Ms Byrne, the choir and the musicians for the beautiful music.
We hope you have a restful holiday and Happy Christmas!
Please see attached the link to our December Newsletter. Make sure to have a read and see everything we got up to this term in OLS. Happy Christmas!
