Another action packed day in OLS for Wellbeing Week. See 4th Years at the ​Glórious (yoga & journalling) workshop yesterday. The tables were turned on the teachers when they became the students for the Student Council. Yoga Laughter gave everyone a good laugh while the healthy juices and smoothies made by the 4th Year Social Responsibility Committee kept everyone's strength up.

The Student Council prepared a lesson on Wellbeing for the staff including a walking debate and a group-work activity. Despite a few troublesome "students" , everyone had fun and learned about the indicators of Wellbeing! The girls have been busy getting involved in lots of activities for Wellbeing Week. Talks by the 4th Years, a rave in St Joseph's Hall, Yoga, Humourfit, Zumba, and mindfulness all taking place so far this week.

Health Promoting Schools' Flag Awarded to OLS

Congratulations to the Health Promotion School Team led by Ms. Molloy who were officially presented with the Health Promoting School's flag at a ceremony today in the school by Caroline Mahon from Blackrock Education Centre, representing the HSE and Healthy Ireland. Congratulations to the Health Promotion Committee led by Ms Molloy as Our Lady's has been awarded the Health Promoting School Flag. We will be officially launching the flag at breaktime on Monday. Please see attached information regarding Wellbeing Week which commences on Mon. We will be ensuring that lots of activities are available to the students before school, and during break and lunchtimes. A reminder to students to wear their tracksuits for the week and to check the calendar to see what is on. More details will be posted during the week.
