As part of our focus on waste reduction a water tap has been installed outside Lourdes Hall. Thanks to all students for bringing their own reusuable water bottles to school. These bottle can now be filled at break times from the school taps. Congratulations to C3 on the design and production of the OLS reusable water bottles which sold out instantly. Students are also asked to bring home the remains of their lunch home. Bringing a reusable lunch box to school makes it easier to bring food waste home.

Congratulations to the U19 Division 3 badminton team who reached the Dublin quarterfinals. They played a great match in the quarterfinals but unfortunately lost. Well done on a great year.

Best wishes to all for the New Year. A reminder of 2 school closure dates next year for staff Junior Cycle training, Jan 25th and Feb 20th. The DES have also sanctioned 2 half days for Child Protection training for staff. The first is Fri 26th Jan when the school will close at 12.10am. We will notify you of the second date in the new year
