Well done to all on the great efforts to keep schoolwork going this week. All students were emailed a survey link today so that we can do a check-in about what's going well for students and what they may need more help with. Please ensure this survey is filled out so that all voices are heard. If you did not get the link, please email remotelearning@olschool.ie. Many thanks.

Great job everyone on the exercise yesterday. The PE Google Classrooms were hopping :) If it didn't happen for you yesterday on the exercise front, make today the day you get going. If you're working on a Chrome browser you can download a cool movement break extension, Move It, to remind you to keep limber while you work! Good for parents working on line too! See pic attached to get the gist. Link here: chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/move-it/kopilngnmfklhhjocdfdlokmodibcbmk
Friday's thought for the day is that 'Friends are like stars. You don't always see them, but you know they are there.' Your social distancing is no doubt impacting your socialising but remember to keep in touch with your pals and classmates. It can be lonely out of the hustle and bustle of school. Stay connected. Stay safe. Stay safe on line.

Our Mid-week Thought for the Day...

Good morning! Welcome back to routine after what we hope was an enjoyable, although unusual, St Patrick's Day. It is very important to set up helpful habits over the next few weeks. We are asking all our students, with their parents' support, to be up, dressed, fed and ready for learning action for 8.30 each day, just like you would on a normal school day. Keeping routine where we can will help us find our way through new challenges. Today's thought for the day is: We first make our habits, then our habits make us.
Today's challenge: Stick to the timetable... This includes little breaks between classes, small break at 10.30 and lunch at 12.10!
You have 20 mins left to get to the desk! Have a good day
