1st to 5th Year students are to check their school email account. They have been emailed regarding collecting their belongings from school at a designated time over the coming days. The email outlines their specific time slot for collection and also details the procedures necessary due to public health guidelines.

State Examination Fee Refund

As a result of the revised arrangements for the Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate examinations, the State Examinations Commission (SEC) is refunding all candidates who have paid their examination fee for 2020. Refunds were processed on May 26th for all candidates that paid the examination fee online. Refunds will go back to the card/account that was used to pay the fee. The process can take up to 7 days to process. If candidates have not received the refund by June 10th , they should email fees@examinations.ie with their exam number.

Between the 6th Year Graduation, yesterday's Prize-giving and today's Final Assembly, we have celebrated many school community successes this week. We hope to make these ceremonies available to you on the website next week. Please find attached this term's newsletter recapping some of the summer term highlights.
We introduced our incoming Head Girl, Deputy Head Girl and Sports Captain last week (Grace Duffy B5, Anna Boyle L5 and Amber Finnegan P5 respectively). You will find them in the newsletter! We can also now introduce our incoming House Captains: B House - Saoirse Murphy, M House - Alisia De Brun, C House - Anna Sweeney, P House - Julie Traynor, L House - Alison Herbert. Well done to one and all on the superb collective effort over the last few months to mobilise the OLS community remotely. School thrives on relationships and interaction so moving learning on-line was a challenge to the ways we are used to teaching and learning. We thank you all, students, teachers, parents, for your willingness to work together to adapt to the situation we found ourselves in last March. There is great strength in that sense of community.
Final Assembly is at 10am this morning. We'll hear from the 6th Year leadership team and meet the incoming leaders. The staff will also take this opportunity to send you their summer wishes! The link will be sent just before 10 to students' email accounts.

A reminder to all LC and LCA students that they MUST register on the on-line portal TONIGHT BEFORE 10pm. Remind your classmates too. DO NOT leave it to the last minute in case you have difficulty. The portal closes at 10pm.
