TY students were delighted to welcome Tom McCutcheon, manager of Kildare Heritage Centre and author of a recent piece on littering in The Kildare Nationalist. Tom is a long standing member of Kildare Tidy Towns. After an excellent discussion prompted by many questions the core values of personal responsibility and commitment to our community were seen to be the most effective solution to littering. We are looking forward to running an anti littering campaign over the next few weeks to promote the value of caring for our environment and community. Sincere thanks to Tom for taking time out of his busy schedule to join us today.
