3D are working to promote the Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal this year. 3D with the support of their teacher Ms Kenny are raising awareness of poverty in the developing world. Breda from Team Hope gave fascinating insights to the meaning and value of this initiative for the recipients. 3D are appealing to everyone to return as many boxes as possible over the next week in time for shipping. Please help us give a present to someone who otherwise would not receive anything.
'Marketplace' pitching ideas for Make A Wish Events

TY students are using the 'Marketplace' technique to pitch their ideas for Make A Wish awareness and fundraising events. Very convincing arguments are being made in support of the many ideas. More information on the events selected will follow soon.

Congratulations to our TY students Alice O'Mahony, Amelia Coates, Amy Douglas King and Katie Cahill who received their certificates and pins upon completion of their training as Facilitators and Peace Advocate Group Leaders at the award ceremony in The UN Peace School, The Curragh. Sincere thanks to Newbridge and Naas Rotary Clubs for arranging this event. Thank you especially to Jean and Keith Best for designing and delivering this wonderful programme.

Patrycia from Bank of Ireland spoke to TY students this morning about starting a school bank. Students are encouraged to apply for positions. They will be interviewed and successful applicants trained in their roles such as Bank Manager, Marketing and Bank Tellers. We look forward to a successful and interesting experience.
Parents Association Bag Pack

Sincere thanks to Morgan Rusk, Kieran Connors and all those involved from the Parents Association in organising a bag pack today and tomorrow Saturday in Dunnes Stores, Newbridge. Senior Football Team Building Day

Our Senior Football Team spent the day completing a series of team building exercises with Shane Stafford from the Defence Forces in the Curragh. The team were put through a series of physical, skill and mental team challenges and showed huge team work and determination all day. A perfect days preparation for the upcoming Senior Championship game against Tullow

The numbers have grown to seventeen, in CPC Photography Club. The club is informal, fun and a place to learn photography skills. Well done to those involved for their committment, enthusiasm and talent. The next meeting will take place on Tuesday 6th November 2018.

The 'Hero' Enterprise group are holding a raffle on Friday next, 26th October. 1st Prize is the hamper pictured, 2nd Prize Box of Heros. Tickets are €1 each or €3 for 5 ticket strip and are on sale at break and lunchtime. Good luck!
