Updating your son/daughter's profile to the correct year group and submitting absence notes through the app.

Dear Parents/Guardians/Students, you may have noticed that in some areas of the school app your son/daughter is still listed as being in last year's year group. In order to change this you should click into your profile - click the 3 lines on the top left when you open the app - click on your name - ensure that all details on the form that appears are up to date - click save at the bottom of this screen. It is important that you do this as some notifications are targetted at specific year groups and if your profile is not up to date you will not receive these as push notifications. Parents/Guardians can now submit absence notes through the school app. Simply click on the 3 lines on the top left when you open the app - select Absentee Form - fill in the correct details and submit the form. The school admin office will receive an email with the details and so will your son/daughter's year head. Please note that you must have registered and completed all verification steps for your mobile number and your email address in order to use this function. The mobile number and email address must match the details the school holds also. 6th Years will be having their group class/individual photos taken on Monday December 3rd. Students must wear full uniform.

Beidh ciorcal comhrá ar siúl i seomra 13 ag am lóin ar an Déardaoin. Cuirfear fáilte roimh gach duine. Is deis iontach é seo duit do chuid Gaeilge a chleachtadh agus ba bhreá linn sibh a fheiceáil ann. Ciorcal comhrá will take place on Thursday in room 13 at lunch. Everyone is welcome. It is a great opportunity to practice your Irish and we would love to see you there.
3A CSPE visit to Dublin Zoo

Today as part of their CSPE action project, students of 3A organised a trip to Dublin Zoo. They took part in the Zooardship program. After discussion and team work they debated the merits of in-situ and ex-situ conservation. They discussed ideas and made strong arguments. They then visited their chosen animal, the Asian Elephant, where they learned more facts. A lovely day was had by all.

Sincere thanks to everyone who supported our Christmas Shoe Box Appeal. Over one hundred shoe boxes were donated which are now on their way to children in the developing world. Well done to all in 3D supported by their teacher Ms Kenny for organising this very successful collection.
