Three recent events in CPC - well done to all

The annual CPC Christmas Carol Celebration recently took place in the Kilcullen Community Complex. The entire school community attended as did a number of parents. A lot of work went into the preparation for the performance by the music department and various music classes. There was a feast of singing and also some dancing. As ever, it was very entertaining and a memorable occasion. The 6th years recently hosted the annual CPC Senior Citizens' Christmas Party. The RE Department and the students worked hard on the preparations: decorating, baking, preparing the entertainment and wrapping presents. The 6th years were delighted to welcome so many guests, including some of their grandparents. Christmas music played in the background as the students served food and drinks and chatted to their guests. Later, the entertainment began with music and dancing. A wonderful morning was had by all! The 6th years would like to acknowledge the generosity of local businesses who donated raffle prizes for the event. (See photos) The 5th Year LCVP class (5A) organised a table quiz for the 1st Years which was held in the assembly hall this week. As in previous years, this provided a positive and fun experience for the students while also raising funds for charity. The 5A class put in a big effort to make the arrangements. Thanks must go to Mr McLaughlin who kindly took on the role of quizmaster and to the 5th Year prefects who provided assistance on the day. Mr Dowling.
