Gallery visit to the National Gallery of Ireland & the Chester Beatty Library

5th and sixth years students enjoyed a busy art trip to two of Ireland's most famous galleries, today. The National Gallery is showing contemporary art from art teacher and street artist Joe Caslin and Joseph Walsh. Well worth a visit.

TY hoodies will be available to order tomorrow Friday. Payment of €25 is required upon placing of the order. There is no requirement to purchase a TY hoodie. It is entirely optional.

Congratulations to our School Bank team on a very successful launch at lunchtime today. Many students opened accounts as evidenced by our queues! The bank will be open in Computer Room 1 every lunch time this week and at break time on Friday

Christmas Hamper Raffle in aid of KWWSPCA

Tickets will be on sale for the Christmas Hamper Raffle from Wednesday 14th November to Thursday 22nd November in aid of the KWWSPCA. Tickets cost 2 euro a strip or three strips for 5 euro. Thank you to Michelle Olivier 6LCA for organising this Raffle and putting together the beautiful Hampers. Please support this fundraiser. Thank you.

Very interesting presentation from Focus Ireland for 5LCA and 6LCA on the Homeless Crisis in Ireland and the work of Focus Ireland. Students were challenged to think of ways they could help the Homeless Crisis. Sr. Stan’s founding message was emphasised with respect and understanding at the heart of the work of Focus Ireland. Well done to Lee Fleming for organising this great presentation as part of his Social Education Task.

Junior Boys Football. Championship group game Monday away to Kilcock. Everybody in full uniform and in class until 10:30am. Players travelling will be on the sports notice board at 10am. Please bring €5 for the bus. Players able to play is all that will be traveling as we only have a 30 seater bus. Please spread the word between the panel.
