Patrycia from Bank of Ireland spoke to TY students this morning about starting a school bank. Students are encouraged to apply for positions. They will be interviewed and successful applicants trained in their roles such as Bank Manager, Marketing and Bank Tellers. We look forward to a successful and interesting experience.

Sincere thanks to Morgan Rusk, Kieran Connors and all those involved from the Parents Association in organising a bag pack today and tomorrow Saturday in Dunnes Stores, Newbridge. Thank you also to our TY students who are assisting with this very important fund raising initiative for our school. Senior Football Team Building Day

Our Senior Football Team spent the day completing a series of team building exercises with Shane Stafford from the Defence Forces in the Curragh. The team were put through a series of physical, skill and mental team challenges and showed huge team work and determination all day. A perfect days preparation for the upcoming Senior Championship game against Tullow

The numbers have grown to seventeen, in CPC Photography Club. The club is informal, fun and a place to learn photography skills. Well done to those involved for their committment, enthusiasm and talent. The next meeting will take place on Tuesday 6th November 2018.

The 'Hero' Enterprise group are holding a raffle on Friday next, 26th October. 1st Prize is the hamper pictured, 2nd Prize Box of Heros. Tickets are €1 each or €3 for 5 ticket strip and are on sale at break and lunchtime. Good luck!

Our school bank team have been selected and trained. We are delighted to launch our School Bank on Monday 15th October in Computer Room 1 at 1.20pm until 2pm. Students aged 14 years and older may open a current account. This will entitle them to a Visa debit card which can be used in shops, online and mobile banking. Anyone interested in opening an account must bring a FULL PICTURE of their passport or birth certificate (on your phone or email) The picture should show all four corners of your passport or birth certificate. If using a passport please ensure both open pages are photographed in order to be valid.
