TY's are visiting the Irish Aid Centre today to do an interactive workshop as part of Development Education and Gender Studies. This is an annual event to which the students have been looking forward to.

Senior Citizens are enjoying a wonderful Christmas Party hosted by our sixth year students and the RE Department. We are delighted to welcome so many today and are particularly happy to welcome so many grandparents.

Parent’s Association Annual Bursary The PA are delighted to announce that we are again offering a bursary to a student or group of students in CPC. Applications are reviewed by the Parent’s Association and the following criteria will be considered: •             How the proposed project will benefit the school community. •             What benefit might accrue to the local community. •             How you as an individual/s will gain from the proposed project. •             The application must relate to an activity that will conclude within the school year. Lundi nous avons eu le plaisir d'accueillir la chanteuse, Caroline Moreau et le musicien Alain à notre école. C'était une très bonne éxperience pour les élèves. TY Students got a taste of the French language and culture while participating in the French language workshop. Merci à tout le monde, surtout nos soloistes.

Poetry Workshops

TY students and Second Year students had fantastic workshop experiences with poet Stephen Murray. Students explored a variety of themes before writing their own poems. Wonderful creativity was shown by students in both year groups. Second Years are delighted to have prepared for their CBA's and TY's have deepened their appreciation for poetry ahead of further study at Leaving Cert level.
Pick and Mix Cosmetics Raffle

'Transition Year mini company "Pick and Mix Cosmetics" will be holding a raffle and selling products at the 6th year parent teacher meeting this evening. The raffle prize is a hamper worth €30 containing a selection of the brands products. Tickets will be €2 for one strip or €5 for 3 strips. They will have Candles (€4), Bath Bombs (€3.50), Bath Salts (€2.50) and Soap (€3) on sale.'
