Leaving Certificate Geography

As you will have seen from recent messages on the app with updates from the DES/SEC, students can continue to work on some aspects of the Leaving Certificate exam components while learning remotely under the guidance of their teacher.
With regard to the Geography coursework Field Trip, which unfortunately had to be postponed firstly from October and now from January due to Covid restrictions, the following is important to note:
The field trip is currently booked to take place on Tuesday 23rd March. The current deadline for the Geography coursework element is April 16th which would leave 4 weeks to complete this element which should be sufficient.
In the meantime it is important that students continue to work in line with the schedule your teachers are providing.
Why not try this today!

My thanks to Ms Carty for sharing this recording of muscle relaxation and breath-work technique to de-stress. This could be used by the whole school community and the video is only about 8 minutes long - but the benefit will last much longer than that. Try it out!
