Well done to 5th Year student Rebecca O'Halloran and her 5th Year colleagues who raised €415.20 for the HOPE Foundation recently by selling HOPE chocolate bars. HOPE is an Irish charity operating over 60 projects working with street and slum children andtheir families in Kolkata, India.
Empty Lockers & Return Chromebooks

The school will open at certain times next week (Mon 8th – Fri 12th June from 9am – 4pm each day) for students to: a) collect books and belongings from their lockers b) return borrowed Chromebooks c) collect their graduation trees (6th Years only). We must ensure that we abide by social distancing guidelines so the following arrangements will apply and be strictly adhered to: a) There are designated days for students to visit the school to collect belongings. This is organised alphabetically according to surname: A-D: Monday E-J: Tuesday K-M: Wednesday N-R: Thursday S-Z: Friday Students will only be admitted to the school on their allotted day. They will not be admitted if they arrive on a different day. b) Students must sign in and out at the hatch in the school porch before entering and leaving the building. c) Only 10 students will be admitted to the school building at any one time. d) If students have to wait outside the school building, they must maintain a safe 2m distance from each other. e) No student or parent should present at the school if they are exhibiting Covid-19 symptoms. f) Students who borrowed Chromebooks should return them to the school office (along with the charger). g) Students will be allocated 10 minutes within the school building to collect their belongings. h) Students must maintain a social distance of 2m while in the school building. i) Students must not congregate in groups either inside or outside the school. The school has sought the advice of a Health and Safety consultant in determining the most appropriate and safe manner for students to collect their belongings. We ask all students and parents to fully comply with these guidelines to ensure the safety of all.

Online Portal for Leaving Cert Students

The Leaving Cert online portal, the "Calculated Grades Student Portal", will be available to students through www.gov.ie/leavingcertificate, from 10 AM on tomorrow Tuesday 26 May and will close at 10 PM on Thursday 28 May. 6th Year students must register on this and confirm their Leaving Cert levels during that time period. An email with instructions and guidelines has been sent to all 6th Year students.

Leaving Cert Exams Cancelled

The Minister for Education has announced the postponement of the 2020 Leaving Certificate exams. Students will be offered the option of receiving calculated grades for the subjects they are studying or the alternative of sitting the 2020 Leaving Certificate examinations at a date in the future when it is considered safe to hold the examinations.
