It was a very successful weekend for our Sion Hill Debating club. A Lawrence and P Rattan competed in the Philspeaks competitive weekend in Trinity college and won! Five junior students travelled to Bettystown for the Matheson Ormsby Mace debate and competed in several debates throughout the day. This was the last of the preliminary rounds that they have competed in, and the following four students have now qualified for the Leinster Final at the end of February! Huge congratulations to P Agrawal, I Tripathi, K Abdulhaman and A Binu.
