Dear Parents and Guardians We hope you all had an enjoyable and restful summer. Welcome back to all our students from 2nd to 5th Year. Welcome also to our new 1st year students and those students joining us for the first time this year. I also wish to welcome our new Deputy Principal, Ms Fionnuala Gleeson. We are all looking forward to working with her and wish her every success in her new role. This year is a new start in very many ways. We are commencing the year without any of the Covid restrictions that have been in place since March 2020. It is an exciting time for the school with many wonderful events to look forward to. The schedule for the next few days is on the school calendar on the App, with classes commencing as normal at 8.50am on Tuesday 30th August. Just a few gentle reminders: Uniform - full school uniform is to be worn to school on a daily basis. Jewellery - To be kept to a minimum as per the Code of Behaviour Make-up and Enhancements - Make up should not be worn to school, nor should false eyelashes, nails etc. The use of mobile phones is not permitted on the school campus. Phones are to be switched off, once on the school campus and kept in the student's locker. Lockers will be made available to students for the start of the year. We are looking forward to welcoming all our students back into school and we look forward to a successful school year ahead. Kind regards Bernadette Prendiville, Principal.

Delay with School Bus

We have just been informed that 6th years will not arrive back to school until 4.30 pm approx today.  As a result, students will be delayed returning home on the school bus this evening.  Apologies for inconvenience.

Morning Parents & Guardians Please find our hockey fixtures for the first week back to school. Teams will be sent out Friday 26th for these fixtures. If anyone is interested in rejoining hockey this year please email me: bcarolan@loretofoxrock.ie, to be added to the lists. These teams will be provisional, while we sort them at the start of the year. 2022/23 Fee letters

We are looking forward to welcoming all students back to school next Thursday 25th August. 2022/23 fee packs were issued to all pupils by post in early summer, if you have not received your pack or have not made any payment as of yet please contact the school urgently as the fees were required to be paid in full or the first standing order instalment to be made, ahead of school starting back next week. Dear Parent or Guardian A reminder that school will finish on Thursday 13 October 2022 at 3.45pm for all students, to allow for the 3rd Year Learning Advice Meeting with Parents. The meeting will commence at 4.15pm in the Sports Hall. We look forward to meeting our 3rd year parents.

Morning Parents & Guardians Reminder hockey preseason training will commence on Monday 8 August, starting with our Minor age group at 2.30pm, followed by our Seniors @ 4.00pm. Please encourage your daughters to attend if not away on holiday. Please do not change plans, Age groups are for the NEW ACADEMIC YEAR. Goalkeeper Training (Still attend Team Session) Monday 3-4pm Senior GK 4-5pm Minor GK . Open Evening Thank You

A big thank you to all of our students for their help during our Open Evening yesterday evening. To those who helped to get the school ready, those that helped out in each of the subject areas, and those that gave the tours. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with visitors commenting on how amazing our students are and how well they presented themselves and the school. So a big thank you and well done.
3rd Year Learning Advice Meeting

This is a reminder to all 3rd Year Parents/Guardians that the Learning Advice Meeting for 3rd Year students will take place on Thursday 13th October from 4.15-6.45pm. The booking system for scheduling appointments is currently open, but will close tomorrow (Thursday). We look forward to welcoming you into the school on the 13th.
