The HFSS was looking a bit green today as we celebrated St Patrick's Day.
This week we celebrated Seachtain na Gaeilge, the theme this year was Mná Láidre na hÉireann (Strong Irish Women).
Students in different years took part in an array of Irish themed activities including a Poster Competition (Comórtas Póstaer), a treasure hunt (Tóraíocht Taisce), a quiz (Tráth na gCeist) and the obligatory Céilí.
Tá súil againn go mbeidh deireadh seachtaine deas agaibh ar fad. Lá Fhéile Pádraig shona daoibh go léir.

Our F1 in Schools Team "Supernova Racing" fronted by three of our TY students; Grace Murphy, Clodagh Kelly and Rebecca Loftus, have reached the All-Ireland finals of the F1 in Schools International competition which is due to take place in April.
The girls have designed a miniature Formula One racing car which is currently being manufactured and will race against 130 other schools from all across the country at the finals.
In order to purchase mechanical parts for the car and other materials, the students need to raise funds, firstly through a bake sale this Friday and secondly through gaining sponsorship from local companies. It is fantastic to see STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) being promoted in the Holy Family.
Students can support our team this Friday by purchasing some treats made by the TYs. Also, if any parents would like to get involved through providing sponsorship, please contact Ms Whelan via email reception@holyfamily.ie
