Hi 6th years.
A few students had issues today registering on the leaving certificate portal. It is nothing to worry about. It can be sorted by ringing the state examinations commission (SEC). It is due to SEC not having your pps number. Ring the number in the attached picture and SEC will issue you a new PIN number to register. Call into my office next week if you need help or email me over the weekend. guidance@staugustines.ie
Enjoy the weekend.
Regards
Elaine Moore.

The cao and attending college is not the best fit for all students. Those not sure what to do next year or that need to work to help fund college should consider a further education (fetac) post leaving certificate course in a further education college. There are no points required but candidates will be interviewed. Dungarvan College Applications are currently open. Apply if interested. dungarvancollege.ie/
You will find other further education colleges and courses on www.qualifax.ie or on www.careersportal.ie. Or call into Ms Moore’s office.

Ambassador School Programme
The European Parliament Ambassador School Programme is a network of schools across the EU raising awareness of European parliamentary democracy and European citizenship values. The programme is carried out by Mr O Brien and Ms McGann with TY students. This morning a virtual evaluation and monitoring visit of St Augustine’s College was carried out by Christina Nuhr. We are very proud to be an Ambassador School.

Another past student doing very well. Aisling Moloney works with RTE is also in the Leader this week. It’s great to see past students doing well.
It’s so important that students make good informed choices and also choose a career that suits their aptitude and personality.
