On World Autism Awareness Day, April 2, we encourage all in the St. Augustine’s College community to wear something blue. Blue is a color associated with Autism and it can symbolise a feeling of calm and acceptance in a world that can be very loud and challenging sometimes.

UCC Virtual Entrance Scholarship Awards Ceremony 2021 took place on Tuesday 30th March at 7pm. St Augustine’s College is delighted that two past students Isobel Dipple and Adam Taylor received a UCC Quercus Scholarship. Congratulations to you both from all at St. Augustine’s College.

Candidate Guidelines for the Oral Examinations • The timetable for all candidates is on the header. Make sure that you know what day, date and time your oral is on. Make sure to record these details for yourself. • Make sure you know what classroom your oral exam is being held in. • Candidates are to arrive 10 minutes prior to the oral exam. If for any unexpected reason you are unable to make the oral it is vital that you contact the school. • Ensure that you sign the official sheet that will be allocated inside the front door. • Candidates must bring their own pen. • Please use Ms. Commins and Ms. Mulcahy’s rooms to wait in before being called. • Candidates are not permitted to bring notes or any such materials into the interview room. • Candidates are not permitted to have their mobile phones or any other recording device in the interview room. • Masks must be worn once inside the school building and throughout the oral. • Full uniform is to be worn. • Candidates must sanitise their hands when entering and leaving the interview room. Dear Parents/Guardians/Students, An Initial Information form for those studying subjects entirely out-of-school has been published by the Dept. In order to access ‘Accredited Grades in Leaving Certificate 2021’ students studying subjects out-of-school are required to complete this form in either hard copy or electronic format and return it to the Principal (principal@staugustines.ie ) no later than Thursday 15th April.
