School Self- Evaluation 2022-2026
Holy Faith Clontarf has been involved in a consultative process with parents, students and teachers on how to improve Learning and Teaching in our school. As a result of the consultations, we are improving our Assessment and Reporting systems.
This has involved looking at how we give feedback on learning in TY which has led to the introduction of the credit system in 2023-2024. After further consultation with all stakeholders at the end of the academic year, further modifications and improvements are being made this year 2024-2025.
We are also improving formative assessments practices for all year groups. These include practices such as reflection on learning, peer and self-assessment, the aim being to give students the tools to reflect on their own learning journey.
How you, the parents, can help is by encouraging your daughter to reflect on her own learning at home and to respond to surveys so we can have a better understanding of how we are doing.
Thank you to Ms Conlon, our SSE Coordinator, to the SSE Committee and to all of our staff who are involved in the process.
Reminder, the school will be closed this coming Monday, 30th September.
