Today we say Auf Wiedersehen to students from Germany who have attended school here for two weeks. Students from Holy Faith had the opportunity to attend their school in Germany in April.
Swimming 5th Year PE

A group of 5th Year students took a short walk to The Baths Outdoor Pool for a swimming session during a double PE class. We had great weather and after the initial cold water shock, the students had a great experience.

Could you please ask your daughter to check that she wore the correct shoes home after Spirit day. We are aware that someone is wearing size 8 black converse - we have their size 7 in the school! 
Spirit Day - Weather Update

We hope for good weather for Spirit Day tomorrow with rain forecast toward the end of the activities.  Folowing this evening' heavy thunder storm, students are advised to bring a chang of clothing with them tomorrow.
Spirit Day 2023 - Tuesday 9th May

Spirit Day 2023 will take place tomorrow, Tuesday 9th May in Scoil Uí Chonaill. Students will walk with their teachers to Scoil Uí Chonaill for 11am. There will be inflatables, games, a crepe van, chips and lots more activities. Students with dietary requirements should get their food first, to avoid contamination. The event is being organised by a 5th year LCVP group and the Board of Management are covering the cost. Students will be free to go home after Spirit Day at 2:30pm approximately. Students should wear their school tracksuit and bring a rain coat!!! Supervised study will continue as normal.

Holy Faith Clontarf's whole school approach towards a more eco friendly school was very evident this year. A whole school collection of bottle caps allowed for a Bottle cap Mural to be created. The Mural is to serve as a reminder to Reduce Reuse Recycle Repurpose and Refuse plastic and waste. Plastic is thrown, blown and washed into our oceans daily. Nearly all TY students had involvement in creating the concept, planning, drawing, painting and attaching the bottle caps for the Mural. 5th year students Karuna Walsh, Kate Jennings, Emily Joyce, Kris Candelaria, and Alibhe Madigan finalised the project " The sea is not our garbage bin" with a massive effort to produce something beautiful, creative, and thought provoking. Well done Girls.
