Our TYs were presented with their Junior Cycle Profile of Achievement today, a document formalising their Junior Cycle exam results, Classroom Based Assessment (CBA) successes and their learning over the 3 years of Junior Cycle in Other Areas of Learning. Congratulations to all!

What a hectic few weeks! 

In the sporting world, we offer huge congratulations to Joy Ralph on receiving her U17 Irish Cap for soccer, to Molly Mullally, the new National Indoor Under 19 Triple Jump champion and our own U14 Gaelic Football teams who have progressed to the next stage of the Leinster championship! All wonderful achievements!

Our Active School Flag class, the Charity Committee and the Greens Schools Committee have been busy this term - see the pdf update attached!

Our Senior A hockey team took on an U21 team from Our Lady's Club for a most enjoyable display of current and past pupil skill and competition!

Today, poet Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin visited OLS to talk to the 5th Years. She is one of the prescribed poets on their Leaving Cert course and after reading some of her work, Eiléan answered really insightful questions from the students about her poems and the craft of writing.

Well done to our TY Musical and Enterprise classes for a magical musical week!

Our 3rd and 6th Years have been flat out with practical exams and project submissions this week - well done to all involved and best of luck to our 6th Years over the coming 6 days with their oral exams - you've got this!!
