We wish the very best to our Leaving Certificate students who will be receiving their exam results on Tuesday 13th August. Results will be available for collection in school from 9.15am - 12.15pm on Tuesday. Students can also access their results online from 10am. The fifth and sixth years welcomed Sarah Doyle from The Better Life Project this week. She spoke to them about coping with success and failure. The students learned about keeping a gratitude journal in order to stay positive and build resilience.

The Centre for Talented Youth, Ireland (CTYI) programme provides educational enrichment opportunities for secondary school students. CTYI organises courses every summer in the months of June and July. They also have a wide range of Correspondence Courses which take place during the school year. Students who wish to participate in the CTYI Summer Programme or the CAT (Centre for Academic Talent) Programme must first demonstrate high academic ability. We wish to invite all parents to this year's Parents' A.G.M. which will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 3rd. in the G.P.A at Our Lady's School. Information relating to the short agenda is attached for your viewing. On the same evening we will welcome the renowned keynote speaker Professor Donal O' Shea who will base his address on the title "Healthy Eating and Active Living In 2019". We would encourage all parents to attend this vitally important meeting and we, The Parents' Council, look forward to meeting with you on the evening.
