Today Muslims across the world will begin their journey through Ramadan.
During the month of Ramadan, Muslims don’t eat or drink between dawn and sunset. This is called fasting. They eat in the morning before the sun comes up and again in the evening when the sun sets. They will do this from Friday 1st April till Saturday 30th April.

TY’s have had an action packed few days in Carlingford. They immersed themselves wholeheartedly into the various activities available to them. On day one all students completed a 27km hike in the beautiful mountains surrounding Carlingford. A massive achievement for all!
Over the course of days two and three they completed high intensity laser combat in the forest, they spent the day wall climbing, spinning around in the Gyro, and a trip to the Skypark where they channeled their inner spiderwoman Ziplining and climbing up the high ropes!
In the evenings they have had enjoyed the Carlingford challenge, axe throwing and an evening campfire. They toasted their s’mores and had a sing song all together. The outdoors proved tiring and all have slept well! Students will make the most of the last day in the glorious sunshine today and will bid farewell to Carlingford at approx 5pm. We should arrive back to OLS at 7pm approximately.

Despite a somewhat tentative performance in the penultimate rounds, she managed to get the job done and set up a clash with her tall and rangy opponent.
