3rd Year Class Captains

Our Ember Team introduced themselves to the 3rd year students and led them in prayer at the start of the 3rd year assembly this morning. They then presented the newly elected class captains with their badges. The 3rd year class captains are now leaders and will act in a leadership role for the student body of Cross and Passion College. The 3rd year class captains for each class group are; 3A~Rebecca English and David Maxim 3B~Carl Kenna and Richard Bowens 3C~Jan Berkenvelder and Joe Doyle 3D~Laura Collier, Clodagh Burdis and Janelle Moran 3E~Dylan Labuschagne and Nicholas Mitchell 3F~Sam Gaynor , Emma Harris and Megan Alcock We wish them every success in their new leadership roles.

Good Morning, we just want to remind you about the Parents Association clothes collection which takes place this Saturday, October 1st between 10am & 4pm. Clothes can be dropped at the bike shelters in front of the steps into the school.

Sports Day & Active Schools Week

A big thank you to all students and staff who were involved in our Active Schools Week last week which culminated in a very successful Sports day. Throughout the week a number of events were organised on each day with 1st Years participating in some orienteering, a 2nd and 3rd Year World Cup and some TY Tennis. A special well done to Team France who beat Argentina in the final 1-0 thanks to an Eoin Dowling goal. A special mention to all of our event winners on Sports Day, some of which can be seen in the gallery below.
Aoibheann O'Brien gets Bronze in Limerick

Aoibheann O'Brien a third year student in CPC competed on Saturday in the National Community Games Championships. She took part in the 7 km marathon against the top under 16 girls in the country. Aoibheann managed to pick up a brilliant bronze medal. Well Done Aoibheann, a fantastic achievement..!!

Clothes Collection Saturday October 1st

CPC Parents Association have organised a Bag2school clothing, shoes and clan soft toys collection on Saturday 1st October, from 10am - 4pm. Bags will be collected at the bike shelter at the top of the avenue, in front of the school reception. This collection raises money for the Laura Lynn Foundation and the CPC Parents Association. A great way to clear out the wardrobes of unwanted summer clothes. Thank you for your support with this fundraiser.
