Last week was another busy week of sport in CPC.

1st Year boys represented the school for the first time in a GAA blitz in Hawkfield and competed really well.

The U17 boys soccer team had their first league game against Kildare Town, a great match ended in a 3-3 draw.

Unfortunately, the senior girls basketball team suffered an agonising 49-48 point loss in their semi final vs Clonaslee. Hard luck to all the girls but well done on a great season.

Finally the U16 boys basketball team had a very successful week, winning a quarter and a semi final to reach the Leinster final vs Baltinglass this week. This is a great achievement and we are all behind you!

Well done to all teams and management involved.

A great day was had by all today in Hawkfield at the Kildare GAA 1st Year Boys GAA Blitz. The 3 CPC teams were managed by TY coaches and 3 of our students even refereed games. As a whole our players and TY students were fantastic ambassadors for our school and it was a bonus that we won most of our games. Well done to all involved.
