Mr Leonard presented our Senior Students with certificates earlier today in recognition of their Perfect Attendance since the beginning of the school year. Both 5th and 6th years were treated afterwards by their Year Heads, Ms O'Malley and Ms Fennell, to a cuppa and some treats. Mr Leonard, Ms Harney and Ms Reigh joined in the celebrations as students gathered to chat and take some time to enjoy and reflect on their achievements.
Our School Leadership Class ran a fundraising campaign in conjunction with ‘Trick or Treat for Temple Street’ They compiled goody bags which student could order to be delivered to someone in school that they felt deserved a treat! Deliveries took place this morning with many happy recipients!!
Un grand merci to our TY French students who created beautiful leaflets in the French language about Cross and Passion College and Kilcullen. These brochures will be given to French students of Saint Contest, a town in Normandy which is twinned with Kilcullen. Ms Quinto will be travelling to Normandy this weekend to meet with teachers from the region to encourage correspondence and build links with our school. The leaflets were produced by Ms. Rowan and Ms Quinto’s students.
Congratulations to Shantayan Banerjee who was selected for the RCSI Mini Med Programme which will take place in February 2024. The standard of applications was incredibly high which made the decision very difficult. Our sincere thanks to Senior Occupational Therapist Aisling O’Toole (also of National Winning Brown Bread fame!) for giving her time to conduct the interviews.
