Congratulations to the Transition Year Mini Company ‘RSLF’, who won Best Social Media Campaign in the Senior Category at the Local Enterprise Office Student Enterprise Awards Dublin Final. The event was held in Croke Park on Wednesday 8th March. This is a tremendous achievement and the students came first out of 1700 students who took part across Dublin. Best wishes to Seán Donoghue who competes today, Saturday 11 March 2017, in the Irish Life Health All Ireland schools cross country championships. The event is being held in Mallusk playing fields Newtownabbey, Belfast, Co Antrim. Seán runs in the Junior Boys race.
Juno and the Paycock

We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to everyone who supported the Draiocht players staging of Juno and the Paycock last Thursday and Friday night. Both evenings were really enjoyable and entertaining. Our thanks to the Draiocht group themselves who freely give of their time and talent and to the Parents' Council for all their work in promoting and hosting the play. All proceeds will be towards the school garden project.

Juno & The Paycock

The Draiocht players in association with St Declan's parents' council are putting on Juno and the Paycock by Seán O'Casey in the school Library this coming Thursday and Friday night, March 9th and 10th. Doors open at 7.30pm and the play starts at 8.00pm. Tickets are priced at €10 for an adult and €5 for a student. All are welcome. All proceeds go directly to the school. Please support this fundraising activity and the many local residents who are involved in staging the play.

Congratulations to the U14 hurling team who started their season with a win over Castleknock Community College. on Monday. Their next game is tomorrow, Wednesday, with throw in at 12.00 noon in St Brigid's GAA club.

Congratulations to the St Declan's College Minor Boys Badminton team who won the Division 4 final today. Well done to players Killian Corcoaran, Conor Murphy, Laurence McLoughlin and Cal O'Driscoll and their coach Ms O'Mahony. Thanks is also due to the students who went to support the team.
