After a convincing display against Malta in their first match, winning out 3-1, a win against Northern Ireland in straight sets in match 2 and another straight sets win against Gibraltar in match 3, Ireland now head to the final today against Luxembourg. An amazing achievement for these talented young ladies. The final starts at 12pm (local time) today. We wish them the best of luck! If bees become extinct we could loose up to 75% of our food supply within a few years. So be kind to the bees!

This has been a very busy and enjoyable time for our Art students here in Holy Family. 5th year Art class had a wonderful ceramic workshop last Tuesday with the inspirational Eleanor Swan, a past pupil of HFSS. Really looking forward to seeing the works after they've been fired and glazed. Gráinne Bath-Enright, also a past pupil, visited our 2nd Visual Art classes to talk about her career as an artist, designer, and illustrator. She brought along many beautiful samples of her artworks. This gave our students a wonderful insight into the create process. We are very grateful to Gráinne for sharing her knowledge and talent with us. www.gbathenright.com/ Also pictured in action are are 1st year students who have now completed their textiles workshop with Liadain Butler. Thanks to the Art departments and all visiting artists for providing our students with such great learning experiences.
