Due to hazardous driving conditions following the storm overnight and this morning, this evening’s (Friday) performance of Thank You for the Music has been postponed.
The show has been rescheduled to take place this Sunday at 7:30pm.
Tickets purchased for this evening’s performance will be valid for the rescheduled show on Sunday.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.
The safety of our students, staff, and patrons remains our top priority.
Our 5th Year show will take place this evening, following its cancellation last night due to adverse weather.
If you’re attending tonight, please be aware that a match is also taking place in Pearse Stadium, starting at 5:15 PM and expected to finish around 7:00 PM. As a result, traffic in the area will be much heavier than usual.
To ensure you arrive on time, we recommend leaving plenty of extra travel time. The show begins promptly at 7:30 PM.
Additionally, there will be a special Sunday night performance as a replacement for Friday's cancelled show.
We look forward to seeing you and thank you for your understanding!

Dear Students and Parents,
A red weather has been issued for Galway from 3:00 AM to 12:00 PM this Friday.
If the warning remains in place on Thursday night, the school will be closed on Friday.
However, as the warning is set to expire at 12:00 PM on Friday, the 5th Year musical, Thank You For The Music, will proceed as scheduled at 7:30 PM that evening.
If there are any changes to this or further updates, we will notify you via the school app.
We are all very excited about our 5th Year musical, Thank You For The Music, which had its debut matinee performance earlier today.
At this time, the Friday evening show is still scheduled to go ahead as planned. Should there be any changes, we will provide updates through this app.
Thank you for your support!
Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians
There will be no school for students on Friday 17th January as the day will be given over to staff training on the new Bí Cineálta anti-bullying guidelines.
Dear Parent/Guardian,
We are currently reviewing our school's purpose and mission.
It is important that we get input from students, parents, staff, and other stakeholders on this.
With that in mind, we are asking all parents to take 2-3 minutes to complete the very brief survey at this link: https://forms.gle/GCEVousNwwvYGVoN7
The application information for the courses can be found here.
TY and 5th Year students have received a letter today regarding the Planet Youth survey that will be conducted with students in all Galway, Mayo and Roscommon schools. The information collected will be used to inform efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of young people in our communities.
Students will be invited to complete an anonymous online survey that includes questions about their lifestyles, behaviours and health. The survey will take about 50 minutes and will be completed in a classroom setting.
The Planet Youth Survey is an important study that the school participates in every two years. If though, for any reason, you do not wish your child to participate in the survey, please complete the form included with the letter and return it to the office before Friday.
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Planet Youth is hosting a free webinar on Thursday the 14th of November at 8pm entitled What’s in your Vape?.
The webinar will look at the current levels of vaping in our region among young people, the risks involved to our children’s health, how it compares to cigarette use, and how other legal and illegal substances such as HHC or THC may also be involved.
You can register for this free webinar using this link: https://bit.ly/4fGhxHA
