Every Wednesday lunch the 1st year girls keep themselves busy participating in a variety of activities with Ms McDermott and Ms O' Malley. This week the girls took part in Acrosport and had a lot of fun. The girls are looking forward to dance class this evening from 4-5pm. The Girls Active Festival will take place in April which promises to be a great day out for all.
Dear Parent(s) / Guardian(s) / Student(s)
Last Tuesday our 6th year students attended a study workshop to give them tips, support and encouragement and to prepare them for the last few weeks of term to help them achieve their best. ATU Sligo are holding an open day this Saturday 20th April and as part of this day the study coach Sean Lally will deliver a workshop for students at 11am (see attached flyer). If this is something you might be interested in, you can register for the open day at www.itsligo.ie/cao/registeropenday/

Good Morning
As per out calendar the school has a Parent Teacher meeting this evening. To facilitate this meeting school will end at 3.45 this afternoon.
On Tuesday 24th of January the U19 girls basketball team travelled to Grange Post Primary to play the Regional Semi-Final. The girls had trained hard in the lead up to the big game in hope of coming out on top. Unfortunately it just wasn't their day. With Grange taking the lead by 10 points Coláiste Muire had a battle on their hands to claw back. This didn't phase this fantastic bunch of girls. Every one of the girls from one to fifteen fought to the bitter end. Ms O Malley and Ms O Donnell are so proud of this bunch and look forward to working with many of them again next year! Well done to all involved.
This Friday 22nd March, we will hold a non-uniform day to help fund the installation of a water refilling station in the school. This is in keeping with our school improvement plan and the aim to cut down on the number of plastic bottles we need to use in the school.
The Student Council are collecting a €2 contribution to fundraise for this cause and thank you for your generosity.
Good Morning
Due to continuing bad weather and road conditions the school will remain closed today. Exam classes should use this opportunity to revise for upcoming mock exams
Due to bad weather conditions and keeping the safety of the school community in mind Colaiste Muire will be closed today. We would advise that exam classes use this day as an opportunity to revise for Mock exams starting on Feb 1st.
