The Lunch Box are back in Loreto Foxrock with our Lunch service for the new term starting Monday 1st November. Meal schemes and new menus for this term are now available to purchase on the Lunch Box APP. Just a gentle reminder - the app will close out 48 hours in advance of the day you wish to get your lunch. If a Monday is one of your selected days, your order must be placed on the APP by midnight on Friday. If Tuesday is one of your days, you order must be placed by midnight on Saturday, and so on. 1st Yr Sports will be on tomorrow afternoon from 1.30-3 as normal. There will be basketball in the hall, hockey on the main hockey pitch and multi sports on the front pitch. Any student who's name are not down on the hockey lists can still attend hockey for either session. Any student who has a hockey session can then go to basketball or multi sports for their second session .Each session lasts 45 mins running from 1.30-.215 and 2.15 - 3. Students who would rather not do basketball or hockey can do multi sports on the front pitch.

Afternoon Parents & Guardians We have all 6 of our first year hockey teams playing this Saturday v Alexandra College As our teams are still mixed ability, we have split the training tomorrow into 45 minute slots to rotate with basketball for tomorrow. 1.30-2.15;pm :WHITE, GREEN, ORANGE & PINK 2.15-3.00pm : BLUE & RED The match times and teams will be on the notice board at Thursday lunch, Please find the attached groups.. Dear Parent or Guardian Please find below a programme of talks available to all parents who have experienced self harm in their familiy. UCD in conjunction with Pieta House are providing the talks and in return are requesting participation in a survey. I hope these will be of benefit to any household who have this experience. Kind regards Bernadette Prendiville: Dear Parent(s) or Guardian(s), We are a research team from University College Dublin and Pieta working on a project funded by the Irish National Office of Suicide Prevention. Research has shown an increase in mental health difficulties over the course of the pandemic such as self-harm. As part of this project, we are hosting a series of free webinars for anyone interested in learning more about self-harm in adolescents including parents or guardians. Parents and guardians who attend and who have experience supporting an adolescent will also be invited to take part in a survey. The findings of this survey will help organisations to provide useful information for parents in a way that is easy for parents to access.
