TY Student Helpers Pilgrimage to Lourdes

Eight of our TYs (and two teachers) spent last week caring for Irish young people with various additional needs in Lourdes, providing badly needed respite for their parents & guardians. It is an experience that is difficult to describe and the number of students (35) that applied to go and help is a wonderful reflection on the fine young people we have in our school. It must also be mentioned that the students raised the vast majority of the €6000 required to travel themselves which is a fantastic achievement. Our sincere thanks to anyone who helped out in any way. Beannacht Dé oraibh go léir.

Our LCVP students had a wonderful trip to Kerrycollege.ie Killorglin Campus last week. It was a great opportunity to see all the wonderful courses available on our doorstep.
TY CSI Experience

Our TYs had a busy week with the Crime scene investigators from the CSI Experience. Learning practical skills to investigate crime scenes, putting these new skills into practice and working as a team to solve crime. Apparently it is not that easy to ‘get away with murder’
U17 Boys Football

Congratulations to our U17 Boys!
A massive well done to our U17 boys and their dedicated coaches, Mr. Courtney and Mr. Mangan, on a fantastic performance in the Dunloe Cup against St. Michaels College, Listowel! It was a thrilling match, with ISK clinching a narrow victory, finishing 2-17 to 4-10.
A special shoutout to Seán Doherty and Tadhg O’Sullivan for their superb goals!

South Munster Schools Cross Country

Congrats to Ciara Moore and Lara O Brien Leahy who represented the school today at the South Munster Schools Cross Country. Ciara finished a fantastic 6th place, qualifying her for Munster. Lara also a great race and earned a qualifying for the Munster competition also.
