Well done to our Junior rugby team who had a hard fought 26-0 win in the Giles Shield over Kanturk today in very challenging conditions. Tries from Emjay Leslie (2), Jack Morris and Callum Galvin saw the ISK home against a tough Cork side. Well done lads!

Well done to our 1st year rugby team who took part in the Emerging Schools Blitz in Tralee RFC today. Plenty good rugby on display as well as some coaching tips from Munster Rugby coaches.

Our first year travelled to Tralee to play St Michaels Listowel. After going 2 nil down we battled back and drew 3 all meaning we top the group and get a home fixture in the next round. Goals from Denys Moysiev, Danny Fitzpatrick and Noah Russell. @faischools @faimunschools

Emma Sheehan Transition Year and Dara Sheehan 2nd year represented the I.S.K. at the Munster Senior Schools Swimming Championship in U.L. Sports Arena on November 10th. A huge well done to both swimmers on their achievements and representing the school.
County championship

Congratulations to Mid Kerry U13s on winning the County Championship yesterday featuring a large number of ISK players. Well done to Sarah Palmer and her East Kerry teammates on winning the U17 title beating Mid Kerry in the final. Lots of ISK players involved in both games.

Our 2nd, 3rd and Transition year girls made their historic debut into the beautiful game today. We had 2 teams playing fixtures against teams from Pres Tralee, Castlegregory and Killarney CC. Lots of goals, fun and smiles all round. Well done to all players and our TY coordinators who helped everything run smoothly. Next blitz is in January. @faischools @faimunschools

Well done to 2nd year students Georgina Jooste and Cora O’Sullivan who were both awarded with prizes for their entries to the Astellas Calendar Competition. A very well done to both students on their wonderful artworks based on the theme ‘Avoid the worst, put safety first’.

A huge well done to our TY students who took part in the girls Soroptimist Public Speaking Competition in Killarney today. Although they didn’t progress to the next round, they delivered some excellent speeches and represented our school proudly.
