Studyclix 2024 2025 Reminder
Created : 10 Sep 2024, 12:04 PM
Archived : 27 Mar 2025, 12:00 AM

Dear Parent/Guardian/Student,

We have just set up Studyclix Plus access for students, we generally ask TY students not to use Studyclix. Studyclix.ie is Ireland's most popular study website and helps students revise using past exam questions, videos, notes, quizzes, flashcards and much more. To avail of the offer, students can create or login to their own account on Studyclix with their school email and the upgrade will already be available. Where students may already have an account using another email provider, they will be requested to change this email to their school email. We encourage students to utilise Studyclix to help with homework, revision and preparation for examinations. Students under 16 will require consent from a parent/guardian when setting up their account.

The process is slightly different this year, please see the attached document for more detail.

Step 1 – Access Studyclix.ie https://www.studyclix.ie/

Step 2 – Click on “Sign In” or “Join for Free”

Step 3 – Enter your school email address & click “Join” – a verification code will be sent to your school email address

Step 4 – Enter your verification code

Step 5 – Create a password and “Submit” – You are now good to go.

Use these links for guidance on how to achieve the best from Studyclix.  Studyclix for Students  How to use Studyclix

If you have any queries, you can contact us or the Studyclix support team at info@studyclix.ie who will be able to help.

KInd regards,

Archived : 23 Mar 2025, 12:00 AM

Dear Parents/Guardians of 6th yr students -

SOME REMINDERS –

What is DARE?

DARE is a third level alternative admissions scheme for school-leaver  whose illness or disabilities have had a negative impact on their second level education.

What is HEAR?

The Higher Education Access Route (HEAR) is a higher education admissions scheme for Leaving Certificate students (under 23) whose economic or social background are underrepresented in higher education.

Please research these with your 6th yr student on

www.accesscollege.ie

Students who have indicated they are going to apply for DARE have been given information about DARE.  (see www.cao.ie for information on DARE under Downloads section)

DARE applicants should by now have opened their CAO account and ticked a box indicating they are applying to DARE and filled in Section A online.

It is now time to complete SECTION B with one of the support teachers. (Mrs. Nevin, Mrs. Stanley, Mrs. Travers)

Section C - if it is relevant to your child  - and get it filled in by a medical practitioner.

If your 6th yr student is applying for DARE and has not yet informed us, please let us know immediately so the process can be started.

Also please return completed Language Exemption application forms for the NUI to get signed and stamped before uploading them to the NUI website.

kind regards,

Guidance team
