Dear Parents/Guardians, Thank you for your generous response to our Ukrainian fundraiser. I am very happy to report that 7210 euros was raised for the Ukrainian Red Cross and those funds have been transferred. As this crisis worsens daily, these funds will be used for food, medicine, shelter, and water. Basic life necessities which many of us take for granted. Your money will also be used to help those Ukrainians displaced by the war to find homes in other nations. Thank you once again for your support. Stephen O’Brien

Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s), During the last two years, because of the Covid 19 pandemic we allowed certain latitudes regarding our school uniform and the mobile phone. We are now reverting to full implementation of both policies and we expect all students to comply fully to wear the uniform. Therefore: Jackets are not allowed in the school building from now on. Only full uniform in class. Students should only wear tracksuits on days they are timetabled for PE. Track suit bottoms on these days should be navy or black. Coloured track suit bottoms are not allowed. Students in 1st, 2nd, 3rd year wear the green PE top and students in 4th and 5th year wear the navy PE top. Hoodies are not allowed. These rules and requirements are not new. They are already in our code of behaviour and are based on the principles of fairness and equality. No student should feel under pressure to have labels. Students have lockers now, so they must bring their books to class. I would like to clarify our policy regarding students leaving school during the day. A permission note must be sent in on the app by a parent /guardian and a student must be collected from the office by a parent also. We have a responsibility to ensure students are in safe hands as they leave school. Thank you for your support Padraig Nolan Principal
