Dear 6th yr Students and Parents/Guardians, We hope the exams are going/have gone well for you all. As you are finishing your exams it is imperative to look again at CAO course lists and to ensure you are happy with your choices. CAO closes on July 1st so no alterations to lists can be made after July 1st.
Parents please sit with your 6th yr student and go through their CAO lists for a final time and ensure they are:
1. Listed in order of preference i.e. the course they really want in place No. 1 , the course they want if they did not get their first choice in place no. 2 and so on down the list
2. All 10 options are filled in on both lists = a total of 20 courses
3. Students have researched all options and would be willing to accept any of their choices if offered
4. Students have a range of points courses on their lists
5. Keep a record of your final course choices.
If you have any doubts or queries please contact us by e-mail or by phone to the school.
Kind regards, The Guidance Team
Congratulations to past student Dearbhla O' Regan on being named a Trinity College Scholar this week. This is a huge academic achievement and is the result of months of extra study for the Schols examinations. We wish Dearbhla continued success with her studies.
Huge congratulations to Annamae Walsh Gleeson in 1st Year who, along with her trio of team mates, won gold before Easter and became Acrobatic Gymnastics National Champions of Ireland (Age 11-16).
