Dear Parent/Guardian/Student,

Thank you to you all for donating your old uniforms to our green schools uniform drive on Monday. A huge thank you to our Green Schools team members Megan Campbell Jacob and Naoise Downey for generously giving up their time to coordinate this helpful event and organise the items for redistribution. Many parents commented on how grateful they were for this initiative.

We have a range of uniform items now available for both junior and senior students - please see the list below for details of the items and how many are available. 

We will be redistributing these items at the school next Monday July 17th between 10.30am -12pm.

A donation of €2 per item is suggested which will go towards the breakfast club in Scoil Mhuire.

As you may be aware, we have been transitioning to a new school Management Information System (MIS) over the last academic year. From the 31st August 2023 the old system, Cloudschool, will no longer be accessible to us. As you have been accessing your student reports using the Cloudschool App, after the 31st August you will no longer be able to do so.

If you wish to save a copy of your students reports you can download them from the Cloudschool App. Attached are instructions showing you how to do this using an Apple, Android and Desktop device.

If you have any issues signing in to Cloudschool please contact Mr Cahillane.

When we return to school, we will inform you as to how you will be able to access future reports using our new MIS.

Monday 28th August 8.50am- 11am- Third Years and Sixth Years

Tuesday 29th August 8.50am- 11am- Second Years and Fifth Years

Wednesday 30th August 8.50am- 11am- First Years and Transition Years

Thursday 31st August 8.50am-3.45pm- All students return

Please be advised that we don't expect the school buses to be running until 31st August but will inform you closer to the time once we are updated by the bus companies.

Dear 6th yr students and parents, CAO Closes tomorrow, July 1st - please ensure your 6th yr student has checked and is happy with their choices before close of CAO tomorrow July 1st.

A massive congratulations to Alex Heeney who has been selected to represent Ireland in High Jump in the upcoming Schools International Athletics Board Championship. This event will be taking place in Scotland on July 15. To be wearing the country's vest at 16 is a great achievement and an outstanding honour for Alex, his family, Scoil Mhuire and Clane Athletics Club. We wish Alex every success in his endevours and know he will represent Ireland with pride.

A reminder to 6th yr students with CAO accounts to review your course lists before July 1st.

Parents please ensure your 6th yr student has re-visited their lists and checked they are happy with the lists and the order the courses are listed. See message from last week also.

CAO closes July 1st - please ensure this check is done before that date.
