Lá Fhéile Bríde - St Brigid's Day

Wishing all in Holy Faith, Clontarf, a happy St Brigid's Day. The day traditionally marks the end of winter and the start of spring. This year in particular we welcome new beginnings, growth, light and healing. Prayer to Saint Brigid Brigid, You were a woman of peace. You brought harmony where there was conflict. You brought light to the darkness. You brought hope to the downcast. May the mantle of your peace cover those who are troubled and anxious, and may peace be firmly rooted in our hearts and in our world. Inspire us to act justly and to reverence all God has made. Brigid, you were a voice for the wounded and the weary. Strengthen what is weak within us. Calm us into a quietness that heals and listens. May we grow each day into greater wholeness in mind, body and spirit. Amen.

The Department of Education Inspectorate have produced a survey to gather parents views on remote teaching and learning. This survey closed on Friday 22nd January. Thank you to those who submitted responses. A reminder that, as stated in point 5 in the school's protocols for remote e-learning, 'live classes should be viewed by the student from the class only and no other members of the household'. It has come to our attention that some students are not following this protocol. We would like to remind parents and students of the importance of this. We will discuss this further with students at their next assembly.
