Year Head Appointment

I am delighted to inform parents and students that Ms Clodagh Mackle has been appointed as Year Head for 3rd year.  Ms Mackle may be contacted by parents at clodagh.mackle@holyfaithclontarf.com and by telephone through the main office at 01 8332754.  Ms Mackle will be in contact with parents shortly to organize a meeting on teams.  Assembly for 3rd year takes place at 8.40am every Thursday.  Thank you to Ms Molloy who has acted as Year lead for the last few weeks and I wish Ms Mackle every success in working with students and parents of 3rd year.

TY Carlingford Trip

96 Transition years went to Carlingford adventure centre Monday and Tuesday. They took part in a variety of activities including high rope challenges, kayaking and team building activities. Well done to all the girls for their great humour and full participation. Thank you to Ms Peppard, Ms Halpin and Ms Mc Donald for travelling with the girls

Community Games U14 Girls All Ireland Gaelic Football Series

Best of luck to the students in 1st & 2nd year who will represent Clontarf, Dublin and Leinster in the U14 semi final and, hopefully, final of the All Ireland Community Games Gaelic Football Championship in University Limerick this Saturday, 24 September. This is the second year running that the team have qualified for this stage with 4 of the girls playing last year too.  Hopefully they can turn silver to gold this time round.

Dear parents,

 

There is a free webinar taking place next Wednesday the 16th of November at 7pm called The importance of sleep for our teenagers.  The main speaker is Lucy Wolfe and she will be giving some information and guidance around this topic.  Lucy is best known for the books she has written on sleep for young children, but she has prepared some very useful material specifically for this webinar and the parents of teenagers.
